Second LTTA – Day 3

On the third day of the mobility the students were divided into three groups, each with two Turkish students and four-five Spanish students, who worked together on the first programming gigs on the following smart house features: kitchen, living room and bedroom.

Each room was organised independently from the other two, with different hardware (sensors) and programming blocks. In the kitchen a fire was simulated by using the gas sensor, the LEDs (to give the alarm) and the servos (to open or close doors and windows). In the bedroom the movement sensor was implemented in order to detec possible intrusions and give the alarm via buzzer. In the living room a welcome message was displayed on the LCD panel when movement was detected at the door.

Variations of the former situation were also executed by each group, in order to fully understand the way each sensor can be controlled and how they interact with the processors and the servos.
